The challenge

Philips Lighting sales managers can’t demonstrate the lighting options when they’re on site with a customer. So how might we create a lighting experience before installation?

The solution

We developed a useful application of virtual-reality technology that is now being used in the field every day. The 360° VR tool is available in 8 languages and allows lighting customers to experience the lighting solution in an interactive true-to-life VR environment. The tool shows the actual space of a lighting project in real time, and incorporates the full suite of Philips CoreLine products and their lighting effects.

The Coreline series is professional led lighting for different spaces and occasions. This global campaign is rolled out in 10 different countries. To promote this new series, we also developed a brochure that will be mainly used by installers as an additional sales tool. It has a fresh green look and provides the reader with clear product information, but also interviews and background information to enhance the product experience.
